There are many attempts at recording this song in my tape library. First written and recorded in 1992. I wrote it mainly, but as one of my first attempts and writing a song I gave it to Phill to hopefully fix up the more embarrassing lyrics. When he returned with his re-jigged version it was written in red pen so became "Red Song". Most of the recorded versions feature Phil on lead vocals with myself providing a falsetto harmony ( see the version on the album "20 Greatest Bits and Bobs") This version with myself on lead vocals, was recorded in my spare room studio NG3 in July 2001, except for the Drums which were recorded in November 1994 in a church. Never been happy with this tune really, but it used to go down good live.
