This is a 60's song I first heard in 1983 and always liked it. But I never knew who it was by. I had it on a cassette and would sometimes play it to people and ask if they knew who it was by. With the advent of the internet I found out about 20 years later that it was a B side by a Nottingham band who had a couple of flop singles out on PYE records. The chap that wrote it (Bill Moseley) lived a stones throw from me all the time. For years I'd been threatening to do a cover of it and I finally got around to doing a quickie live"ish" version during the lockdown by playing and singing a live acoustic version, then overdubbing drums, bass, 12 string guitar and extra vocals.
